Originally produced in 2007, the i CAN Bull design remains one of my favorites to date. Over the years I have spent many hours with Bulls and Cows on dairy farms, studs, and ranches. My day job (www.a-tech-america.com) focuses me on many aspects of the Bovine industry which are not for the faint of heart. At the same time I have had the opportunity to exchange with and learn from all different species of animal including Bulls and Cows. I first got to know some Bulls on a routine visit to a stud in Israel way back in 2006. After a meet and greet with my contacts they took me out back to see their herd. The second I set foot outside I hear a deep roar that sent tingles up my spine. I was anticipating my fair share of "Moooos" but this was something else - full of bass and resonance. It was more like a Lion than my perception of how a Bull should sound. We made our way down to the pens which were arranged in a long corridor with the animals on either side. I turn the corner and see them all at once. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM turns and stares at me. I was shocked by the presence and feeling that hit me - I literally froze in my tracks. Their huge black eyes looked like black holes to me - they could see right through me. As we walk up and down the isles I could, for the first time, see each being as an individual. Some wanted to exchange, some didn't. Some were pissed, and some could give a shit. Their sheer size and power was also something to see up close. The ranch hands told me tales of broken enclosures, do-or-die charges, and serious injuries sustained due to improper respect. Even with the warnings I mustered the guts to pet a few and spent the next couple of hours enjoying my exchange with these great creatures. Shortly there after I learned that the Bull is a symbol of CAN. Acknowledging that can bring a lot of strength and ability to any being. I got inspired to make a shirt to showcase this symbol and several months later the "i CAN Bull" tee was borne. The pictures of myself and the Welcome Woman were taken at LAX in Los Angeles, CA. I hope you enjoy them and enjoy the Tee. I encourage you to use the symbol and I hope you have been inspired to take a fresh look at Bulls and Cows. Look deep in their eyes and see what you feel. -eric
